Privacy policy

Tebiki is still being built. Right now we only run a waitlist. This page explains, in plain words, what we collect and what we do with it.

When you join the waitlist: your email, language, prefecture, the procedures coming up for you and when, and the time you gave consent. If you answer the optional questions: how much you would pay, and the last document or procedure that gave you trouble. To know how you found us: campaign tags in the link (UTM), the website you came from, the referral code of the friend who shared it, and your browser type.

To email you when Tebiki opens, to decide which procedures to build first, to learn which channels bring people, and to stop spam.

We count anonymous events, like which buttons are tapped, without cookies and without your email or anything you type. To stop spam we keep a one-way scrambled code made from your IP address for up to 24 hours. We never store the IP address itself.

The waitlist database is hosted by Supabase in Tokyo, Japan. The website is hosted by Vercel. Anonymous analytics go to PostHog. They process data only on our behalf.

Until 12 months after launch, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. If Tebiki does not launch, we delete the waitlist.

Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with. We will reply and delete your data within 30 days. Every email we send also has a link to unsubscribe.

We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

When the app opens: we keep the facts we need (document type, dates), not photos, unless you choose to keep them. We never store your My Number. You can delete everything at any time.

If we change this policy in an important way, we will update the date above and tell you by email.
